The Navigation Compass

The Navigation Compass, found on the Navigation Control, indicates the image orientation and is also used to pan the current image. The letter in the center of the Navigation Compass (N, S, E, or W) indicates which compass direction is at the top of the image. For example, if an "N" is shown, the image was captured from the south (the top of the image is north).

To pan the image or map:

Press and hold on the part of the Navigation compass that points in the direction you wish to pan. The image pans continuously until you release the mouse button.
