Searching your parcel data

If your Pictometry Online account includes access to GIS parcel data for your imagery, Pictometry Online lets you search that data. You can search for a particular land parcel by entering a street address or any other data associated with that parcel. (Any field or fields in the DBF file may be used as search criteria.)

To search your parcel data:

1   From the Search box, choose the parcel search option for your image data.
(For example, a user with Monroe County data may see the option "MC Parcel.")

2   In the box to the right, type the search criteria.

3   Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the search criteria box.

The Search Results dialog box appears.

If the search criteria are found in the parcels file, Pictometry Online presents a list of hits.

--  Select the desired hit and click Go To.

Pictometry Online refreshes the image or map, jumping to the location of the search hit you chose. The parcel is outlined and shaded in color.

Note:  To change the attributes of the shading and outline for the parcel, see "The Defaults Tab."

Otherwise (the search criteria were not found), the dialog box shows the message "No results to display."

--  Click the dialog box's "Close" button (x).
