Measuring height

Use the Height Tool to measure the height of an object in an Oblique image. (Because Orthogonal images are captured straight down, the Height Tool does not apply to them.)

To measure height:

1   Click the Height Tool.

2   Press and hold the left mouse button on a point at the base (where it meets the ground) of the object you want to measure the height of.

Important:  Be sure to measure height by starting at the ground and moving upwards. If you cannot see the ground, you must estimate its location.

3   Drag the mouse upwards and release it at the ending point.

The measurement appears on the Status Bar.
