E-mailing a link to your image

Pictometry Online lets you email a link to the image you're currently viewing. You can E-mail links to any colleague in your network.

Note: Your E-mailed link will let another Pictometry Online user view the image you were viewing as long as that user is set up with images in the same geographical area as your images.

Use the following procedure to E-mail a link to the image currently in view.

To E-mail a Pictometry Online link:

1   Click the Save a link to current location button.

Hint:  This button is in the upper row of the main toolbar area.

The Send Link dialog box opens.

2   In the Email Address box, type the E-mail address of the person who should receive the E-mail.

3   Click Send Email.

The dialog box closes and an E-mail is sent to the address you supplied. The E-mail contains a URL link to the image you were viewing.

When the recipient opens the E-mail and clicks the link, the recipient's browser opens to Pictometry Online's login page. Upon login, Pictometry Online opens and goes directly to the image you were viewing.
