Changing magnification (zooming)

You can change the magnification of the image or map in the Image window in various ways. You can also change the magnification of the mini-map in the Navigation window.

To change the zoom in the Image window:

   Do one of the following:

--  Click the Zoom Control's minus sign (-) to decrease zoom, plus sign (+) to increase zoom.

--  Drag the Zoom Control's slider to the left to decrease zoom, to the right to increase zoom.

- or -

--  Click in the Image window, then roll the mouse wheel away from you to zoom in, toward you to zoom out.

- or -

--  If you are viewing the Road Map, double-click on the map to zoom in and center the map on the location you double-clicked.

The image or map is refreshed (or swapped for another) to achieve the desired zoom. For images, the (new) scale and shot level are shown on the Status Bar. For maps, the Navigation window's zoom changes accordingly.

To change the zoom in the Navigation window:

   Click in the Navigation window, then roll the mouse wheel away from you to zoom in, toward you to zoom out.

The mini-map changes to the desired zoom. If you are viewing a map in the Image window, its zoom changes accordingly.
