Changing line and shape annotations
If you'd like to add points (vertices) to a line or shape annotation, or if you'd like to move points, you can easily do so by activating drawing mode. Adding points also adds segments to your line or shape. Moving a point changes the location of that point and consequently the shape of your annotation.
Note: Annotation properties cannot be changed in drawing mode. To change annotation properties (such as color, opacity, and line weight), you'll use the Properties panel.
To change the shape of a line or shape annotation:
1 Double-click the annotation in the Image window. The annotation's vertices are highlighted, drawing mode is activated, the cursor changes to a crosshair, and a visual cue identifies the annotation on the image.
2 To move a point, simply drag the point. To add a new point, click the location at which to drop the point. Adding a new point also adds a line segment.
3 When you are done changing the annotation, click the Pan tool to end drawing mode.
