Using the Navigation Compass to navigate

With the rotation buttons on the Navigation Compass, you can rotate around a scene and view images taken from different directions. Each click on one of the rotation buttons displays an image taken from the adjacent compass direction.

The left rotation button rotates the compass in a clockwise direction (west-up, then south-up, then east-up, if starting with a north-up image).

The right rotation button rotates the compass in a counterclockwise direction (east-up, then south-up, then west-up, if starting with a north-up image).

To rotate around a scene:

  1. Click one of the rotation buttons below the compass. An image taken from a different direction opens in the Image window.
  2. Click the same rotation button again to open an image taken from the next compass direction.
  3. Click again until you return to the orientation you started with.
