Changing units of measure

You can change the default units of measure in which measurements are shown at any time, even immediately after measuring. If you change the default units while the measurement result is still visible in the Image window, the Status Bar and the Image window show the measurement result in the new units of measure immediately.

To change units of measure:

1. Click . The Preferences dialog opens.
2. Click the Units tab.
3. Select the desired units for Distance, Area, Location, and Angle measurements from their drop-down lists.
4. Click OK.

The units you set are used as the default units of measure when the Imaging application displays measurements. Your changes remain in effect until you change units again.
