Measuring angles

Use the Bearing Tool to measure the angle formed by the intersection of two lines in an image.

To measure an angle:

1. Click the Bearing Tool .
2. Press and hold the left mouse button on the point that is the vertex of the angle. Drag a line from the vertex along one side (ray) of the angle.

3. Press and hold the CTRL key, then drag the mouse pointer away from the first side to draw the second ray of the angle. Release the mouse button and the CTRL key.

The measurement appears on the Status Bar and in the Image window.
