Measuring bearing

Use the Bearing Tool to measure the bearing of a line in an image. How you draw the line is important, as shown in the following illustrations:

To measure bearing:

1. Click the Bearing Tool .
2. Press and hold the left mouse button on the starting point.
3. Drag the mouse pointer in the desired direction to an ending point, then release the mouse button. The measurement appears on the Status Bar and in the Image window.
